For the smaller size aquarium the rimless and braceless Optiwhite with its nearly invisible silicone work is a good choice (our recommendation).
Once an aquarium increases in size to the 120cm (4ft) point silicone is visible and this increases with size. Acrylic tanks have a mitred joint and this produces an incredible seamless effect in any size. There is no colour cast whatsoever and distortion, even through a piece four feet thick is not noticeable.
